Lex LaFoy

Lex LaFoy is a South African rapper, writer, performance artist and all round creative from Durban. Although she has been in the game since 2004, her debut into mainstream media came in 2005 when she was runner up to Sizwe Dhlomo in the first ever MTV Base VJ Search. She went on to leave her mark in the Hip Hop industry and was nominated for Best Female and Best Mixtape in the very 1st South African Hip Hop Awards. Alongside her rap career, this multi talented young lady might have caught your eye with the roles she played in these television series, Muvhango(SABC 2), Keeping Score(SABC 2), Amandla(Lionsgate), Hustle(Etv) and Next of Next Week(Etv). In 2018 she went on to release her debut album titled, Honey Bass which is available on all music platforms. Being voted one of SA’s hottest female rappers of 2016 by GQ Magazine SA, Lex is certainly a rising star to look out for.
